Starting at $20,000, a Knife Drive Retrofit can help you dramatically increase production, while at the same time, increasing sheet quality. A new Inverter Drive and Motor on the Draw Roll acts as the Master Drive while a Servo Motor on the Knife Cylinder acts as the Follower to determine the correct sheet length. What used to take up to an hour can literally be done in seconds.
We use Allen-Bradley® Servo Drives in conjunction with AB's Micrologix 1200 PLC and PanelView 550 Operator Interface. Their dependable performance and good name in the industry give us the confidence we need in order to offer you a product worthy of AJ Engineering's backing.
